Hi, 

I need to modify a part that was designed by my colleague using functional part design app. But when I click on the part, 3DX selects sheet metal design app. 

How do I know what app was used to design a part ? How do I make sure I use the same app to modify the functions ? Is there a risk of design mistakes by modifying a part with another app that was initially used ?
