Hi, we already noticed this for a long time over several versions of ICEM Surf. When using the "Tube" function for everything over 90° it is not giving the result you would expect.
Example, I want to generate a full 360° tube in Bezier geometry with surfaces of order 7. We all know that 4 segments are needed in order to get a perfectly round shape.
But unfortunately advising the function to use 4 segments, all it does is to split a 1 segment into 4 instead of properly recalculating. Resulting in a not perfectly round profile.
The work around is to build the tube "manually" quarter by quarter (or use the "Profile" function instead), which gives the result you would expect. But we think the function should be able to do this by itself.
