Fellow users, I have the following question - trying to replicate a template of a detailed window on a house using engineering template. It all seems relatively fine except, the "instances" I create are not linked to the original file, which i was hoping to be able to update when needed. I did follow this very useful tutorial on the CATIA AEC channel - "3DEXPERIENCE Tutorial: Automate generation of sub assemblies in a Product Structure" . Set my preferences accordingly but somehow things do not work as I expected.

Am I missing the logic of the engineering templets. Should I be using a different method to distribute these windows (tried power copies - same issue, loosing the link to the original file) in away that i can control all instances at once.
