Deal all, i have the following situation - i would like to have different patterns generated from individual elements in my plans, types of walls for example. The issue is that the drafting application somehow does not recognise the material definition on ellemets . In 3D, the mat. appearance works well and you can see that the materials are applied. But in 2D it would only pick up the material on the total part. Which, i recognize is an option to solve my issue, i.e. - create separate parts with the respective materials but for the sake of simplicity it would have been much easier if these materials came across in the drawing generation. Is there something i am doing wrong? Video attached
