Looking for a best practice document to define the mapping of IFC to Aec Objects when Importing and Export data.

I have created several custom sub types under AecOtherArchitecturalElement and AecOtherStructuralElement. The intent is to map IFC objects during Import and Export of OOTB and custom Aec Types.

I have found the documentation on this topic and have modified the AECDataExchange.xml and uploaded with data setup, but it is not work. Thanks in advance.
