Hi,

We are working on automating production of steel bridges, which requires really high LOD on every steel component. This includes modelling of each weld in the complete assembly, and this information must possible to be exported as IFC to the Public Road Authorities here in Norway. I cannot find any good 3DX Civil subtypes to use for welds, so I was wondering if anyone knows if the IfcFastener entity will be added in a future 3DX release as a Fastener subtype or similar?
