Hello community, 

As a surveyor calculator I need to export CATIA models to AutoCAD. Since DWG export is not (yet ;-) available, we use the IFC export. However, the IFC export is by default "tesselated," which makes the model unusable in AutoCAD. To bypass, we export to STEP and then move the model in AutoCAD because geolocation is not supported by the STEP export. 
In the past, I believe the IFC export was in "exact" mode because the file sizes were much larger. But today, there is no option to choose between the two methods.

Would it be possible to:

• Add the option for exact geometry for IFC.
• Add geolocation for STEP export (ifc attributes are not even readable in Autocad)
• Export to 3D DWG. Once again, DWG is the standard format in the civil engineering industry. It is utopian to think that this format will disappear at short term.
