I built two different systems, DGEBA and TETA. I tried creating a polymer network. I then used pipeline pilot, and selected the first one as resin and the second as hardener. I used the ratio between them as 2:2 and my aim was to see whether I could cross link them together to develop a polymer network. I selected reaction1 reactant1 as site R1 (as in DGEBA) and reaction1 reactant2 as R2 (as in TETA). I left all other option options to default setting, yet I have selected the conversion species option as R1. Moreover, since there is no other reactions supposedly involved, I left reaction2 related options with some dummy variables in the parameter space. At the end of the calculation, I came up with an amorphous cell that has both DGEBA and TETA. However, there is no crossing between them, and thus no polymerization. This has puzzled me, and enabled me to seek help from this site. I am new to this, and am not sure whether what I am doing is correct. I am in the need of some help from this community site to get rid of this aforementioned problem.
