Limitations: Reads text or Excel files with column names.

Purpose:  The Merge Data and Join Data from File (or Cache) components have several options for the way data can be handled.  This protocol allows the comparison of different options of MultipleReferenceBehavior parameter for a selected WhenJoiningOnto option in the Join Data from File component and the MergeBehavior options for a selected WhenMerging parameter for two input files. A report is created displaying the data in the input files, each MultipleReferenceBehavior option for the Join Data from File component and each MergeBehavior option for Merge Data component.

To use: This protocol runs from the Pipeline Pilot client.  Download and import into client.  Specify top level parameters: FilesToUse – Default or User Defined, WhenJoiningOnto and WhenMerging.  If FilesToUse is set to Default, the protocol will create temp files to use.  If FilesToUse is set to User Defined, then File1, File2 and JoinOrMergeUsing need to be specified.
