I have a system containing multiple different hydrocarbons and I want to select only one type (e.g. selecting methane out of a mixture of methane, ethane, and butane). Is there a simple way to do this without doing it manually? I've tried atom selection, but the molecules don't exhibit properties that make them distinguishable among the ways in which you can differentiate using atom selection.
