In the past I have performed calculations on polymer blends using the Blends module. 

As an input I have used the repeating units and I have defined the head and tail units as "non-contact".

Does the blends module make use of periodic boundary conditions?

Does the blends calculation give an idea about possible interactions between polymers where you need a certain minimum sequence length? (i.e. polymer-polymer complexes which require a chain of at least 7 monomers length)?
