I get no results on my searches. Is this because oursolidworks files are stored on a network server not on my pc?

I copied a file to my desktop, added the dektop as a searchlocation and SWE found the file.

Is there a way to resolve this problem. I have added the serverfolder as a search path but still get no results.

Please help.
