Not sure if anyone noticed in the What's New pdf for SW2011 but there is a new performance benchmark that we can run from SolidWorks Rx Addin tab. Page 22 of the What's New pdf.

It is my understanding that eventually SolidWorks will have a webpage up and running where the results of the benchmark can be posted to. I am assuming the webpage will go live after SW2011 goes into Pre-Release.

Hopefully Greg Jankowski can pipe in hear with info on when the benchmark results page will go live.

In the mean time, if you have some time run the benchmark and post your results here on the Beta forum.

The results for my Core i7 system are in the attached screenshot image.
