Rebuild - Why doesn't SW do what I tell it to do?

I have a top-level assembly loaded. An error is detected in asub-assembly/part. I open the asm/part, correct the error andrebuild the asm/part. SW is now happy with the corrected asm/part(which is obviously resolved). I return (CTRL-TAB) to the upperassembly and click rebuild. Nothing. I click it again. Nothing. Theerror is still being highlighted. It's as if SW has decided that arebuild isn't warranted yet. I have to exit the assembly and reloadit to make the error go away.

BTW, I discovered a quirk/trick. If I have an error and it won'trebuild (although I have told it to do so) and I edit any mate -lo-and-behold the damn error goes away. A rebuild occurred.

In Conclusion:

When I click rebuild, I expect SW to rebuild.
