Hi all.

I'm trying to figure out how to create a threaded hole in the blade and a screw that can through the middle of the blade to either push or retract the blade up and down.  I'm using the thread command since that looks like the easiest way to accomplish it.  I got it to a certain point but I can't seem to remove the circled item so that the screw looks like a typical screw. 

I know I must now do something right cuz as it is in the current design, I don't think the screw is going to fit into the hole in the blade below. 

Any suggestions on how to fix it?
