It's a Friday and I should be dong other stuff but I've just run into this little frustration again.

I frequently want to produce rough cutlists that includes the waste material for machining on the end.

Here's a part that illustrates what I do, I use a linear pattern with the vary sketch option.  Here the length of the posts are 50mm above the construction line.  It simple and works fine, but only when I first extrude a dummy body somewhere which is later deleted.

If I don't do this (and I always forget!) I get this...

Its because there is no option to uncheck 'merge result' on the first extrude.

Just one of those annoying little things??
