Mate, Distance, Flip dimension

My Questions:

  1. Why are we having issues with constraints between SW2006andSW2008?
  2. Why is the "Flip Dimension" reversing in thesetworeleases?
  3.  How can you determine if this statement is false(withoutcheckmark) or true (with checkmark)? My indication is thedirectionthat this distance mate constraint is driven.
  4. Is there something we can do with SW2008 to selectwithin"options", "API"... to correct our situation?

We created design tables to drive inputs from the user andwhenit ran into SW2006  the standard mate distance"FlipDimension" is false (without the check mark) and when it ranintoSW2008 the same standard mate distance "Flip dimension isalsofalse (without the check mark) but sometimes and usually youget adifferent result,IT IS REVERSED.

This reversed result isinconsistent when you look at itas multiple constraintsgetting past. The majority of the distanceconstraints are reversedbut it is not always the case, occasionally a constraint are bothgoing in the same direction. Wewould have written something in toreverse the result but that isnot the rule, what is the rule, wedon't know.

We're grasping at straws at this time. I thought possiblytheautomatic fixing of constraints could have something to do withit?Possibly there is a new step prior to selecting the"Flipdimension"? Are there any ideas out there that can help withthis?PLEASE HELP!!!
