Implemented Enhancements for July, 2021
Thank you to everyone for the constructive feedback and ideas to improve the SOLIDWORKS User Forum Community experience. Following-up to the previous post from Manish, as of today we have implemented the following user requested and desired features in 3DSwym:
- Hitting ‘Enter’ will add a new line instead of posting the comment
- Hitting enter while editing comments will behave as expected, it will create a new line. If you want to post the comment without using mouse, you can still hit Ctrl+Enter to post the comment.
- Simplified access to your 3DSwym-based Bookmarks from your profile
- Your 3DSwym bookmarked content can now be accessed under your profile. This is where you expected it to be, so now you will find it there.
- Removal of last message that appeared below community names
- This area has been removed to provide the cleaner appearance that you asked for.
- Hiding unsubscribed communities to provide a short list of communities of interest to you
- You can unsubscribe from communities and those communities will not appear anymore on the left hand panel, giving you a short list of communities that you love and access.
- Comments location will always appear at the bottom of the post
- Comments will now always appear at the bottom of the post/question/idea etc. This will make browsing comments consistent, easier and a much more pleasurable experience that you desire.
- Compact view option for a more compressed user interface wall at the community level
- Compact view - do you want to quickly browse or look at a lot of posts to know which ones to go to go to? You can use the compact view now.
Note: To see & take advantage of the changes applied today in your view, clear your browser's cache (images and files).
Again, thank you for the user-provided feedback! We plan to keep listening and working with you to further improve upon the UX.
