I just discovered something by accident.  I had two sketched lines highlighted to change their color.  I neglected to click off the drawing view to clear the highlights when I activated the Note command.  The text box popped up ready for me to type and it already had a leader attached to each of the lines.  I tried it again with two components and it worked the same way.  Maybe this is common knowledge, but I don't remember seeing anything about it here.  It might save a someone a few clicks some day.
