Look what axi-symmetry did for Nonlinear analysis in Simulation. I think this is self explanatory.
Currently the best we can do is quarter symmetry. Some deals had pinged on this functionality and were lost because others had a better faster solution.
OK, they don't have a true 2-D solver, but perhaps by driving this functionality it will help to improve their 2-D solutions too. It's funny how we are having to move backward from 3-D to 2-D; people still use drawings, so why wouldn't someone think that in the Sim world people still don't use 2-D to simplify the problem.
