The differences between the core Solidworks application and Solidworks Simulation are remarked.
Simulation
- You can doubleclick on a feature in the tree and it edits that feature
- There are no leftclick pop-up pallets
- If you rightclick it shows the menu without the need to depress the mouse button which makes it fast and snappy
I don't think I hate the pop-up pallets but not even being able to simply doubleclick on a feature to edit it in core Solidworks is just weird to me, why force people into using the pop-up?
Also rightclicking without needing to depress the mouse button before the menu appears may be anti-windows convention but I much prefer it as it feels snappy and fast.
