Is there any function in solidworks (2008 SP5), that candetach/freeze/break drawing views from the part/assembly? What Iwould like is a method to lock the view from the part/assembly andchoose when I want to update it. I've heard about detached drawingsbut it seems like this function is isolating the hole drawing fromthe part/assembly, and is not working on view level. This couldbeen a way to increase performance on drawings with many views onmultiple sheets.
Any ideas?
