🧩 The Ultimate SOLIDWORKS Assembly Hunt: Solve, Build & Win!
Calling all CAD modelers, problem solvers and User Forum members!
Starting this Thursday, we’re kicking off an epic 8-part scavenger and trivia hunt right here in the community. If you love cracking cryptic clues, dissecting SOLIDWORKS models, and - most importantly - saving big on tech conferences, this challenge is for you.
Over the next several months, we’ll be dropping monthly clues leading all the way up to December 14. Gather all the missing pieces, assemble the final solution and you could walk away with a major registration discount to 3DEXPERIENCE World 2027 to be held in Nashville, Tennessee USA, February 14-17 2027!
🕵️ How the Scavenger Hunt Works
Watch for the Monthly Clue: From July through November, on the third Thursday of every month, we will drop a new hint right here in the User Forum along with a downloadable SOLIDWORKS model file. Here's the detailed schedule of drops and note that November and December have some variations:
Download & Solve: Save each monthly part with a trivia hint locally to your machine. Inspect the geometry and feature tree to find the answer to the hint or question.
Note: You need at least SOLIDWORKS 2022 to take participate.
The Assembly Puzzle:
Think of the final assembly file as a cryptic vault, the part inside as the dial, and the downloadable extra part as your key.
As you collect all the parts and solve the monthly clues, the answers will be used to solve the final assembly.
Unlock the Code: Populating the assembly correctly will reveal the final piece of the puzzle, unlocking access to the official contest registration page.
Once unlocked, you will have from December 14th through December 21st to register to win.

Keep your eyes on User forum this Thursday for the launch post! We will release the very first downloadable part alongside Clue #1. Download it, start investigating, and make sure to create a local folder on your computer to save your progress as the clues drop each month.
One special clue will be revealed at this November's SLUGME event
