There seems to be no reason for it, but SW appears to decide, entirely of its own volition, to make some dimensions "configspecific". I don't know if it's something I'm doing, but I'm blowedif I can see what it is!
If I create a design table, there are often a number of columnsthat appear with dimensions in them - usually they are allidentical, but occasionally they vary. It depends if I've tried tochange one, I suppose, without realising it's "config specific". Iknow I haven't asked it to be config specific! I even had one todaywhere I'd used a "link value" to make a dimension in a number ofdifferent features identical. But SW had decided that this would bea "config specific" dimension, and the "link value" didn't work.
What's going on? Or is it me?SolidworksGeneral
