I'm not an API programmer so bear with me.
We are trying to make the cut list in weldments work for bodiesthat are NOT structural members. In our case plate stock. I wouldthink that there would be a way that SW could recognize theboundary dimensions of a body and then input that in the cut listfolder for that body. SW can calculate the mass properties of abody so it must know the dimensions.
We would like the API to look at each body in the weldment that isnot a structural member, determine the dimensions and assign avariable to them or something so that they can be used in the cutlist.
For example: the body has dimensions of .50 thk x 13.0 wide x 26.5lg. The api should extract these values and put them in thedescription field of the cut list.
Anyone have thoughts on this?
