The following is an overview of features and enhancements deployed to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform as part of the R2019x FD03 update.

3DDashboard
A new description field has been added to the dashboard creation process.
Users can now remove dashboards that have been shared with them.

3DDrive
A new status window, and upload screen have been added.

3DSwym
Idea status can be filtered and refined directly from the pipeline.
Hidden Conversations can be retrieved.
Private conversations will automatically be deleted after 3 months of inactivity. (Warning notification sent after 2 months).

3DSearch
Search Suggestion, Layout and Preview improvements have been made.

3D Creator
The xDesign Landing Page has been redesigned
Users are now offered guided assistance through typical workflows.
New touchscreen features:

• Instant feedback on edit feature (double click etc.).
• “Touch Mode” enlargement for Constraint icons.
• Robot ruler & snap feedback big enough for finger use.
• Box selection (“view lock”) moves to touch toolbar.
• Tuning for vertices & the origin.

It is now possible to run more than one command at a time.
STL file imports are now available.
Splines can now close up to create a closed contour.
3D Printing now offers new usability enhancements for build size, orientation, and Wohlers Associates device support.
Mates are now carried through forming or dissolving assemblies.
New Lifecycle tab, new "Subway" graph view, and new Sketch Status have been added.

3D Sculptor
The xShape Landing Page has been redesigned.
New touchscreen features:

• Primitives placement – OK/Cancel button allows user to accept the current position of the primitive, cancel out or keep dragging the primitive.
• Crease sharpness slider - Use the slider without accidentally rotating model and relocate the slider bar to get it of the way.
• Vertices are now easier to select.
• Double tap to select an entire loop.
• Face selection performance improved.

Sub-D UI

• Show cage only option now available.
• Insert Loop UI improvements have been made.
• Input flag are now positioned off of the model after a primitive has been placed.
• Flex Feature Manipulator now snap to inference lines.
• Continue, Cancel, OK options have been added to selection context toolbar.
• Primitives automatically scale to the current zoom level when placed.

ENOVIAWORKS
A new client-side copy command is available for assemblies, parts and drawings.
Revision Comments can be added when saving a design, are displayed in the Replace by Revision command, and are automatically mapped to ENOVIA Revision Comment attribute.
After SOLIDWORKS Desktop assembly structure creation, a user can replace template file content from disk.
Assemblies, drawings and parts can be opened in SOLIDWORKS via drag and drop widgets.
First, last name of reservation owner displayed instead of trigram or SOLIDWORKS ID.

Structural Professional Engineer
Users can now run snap-fit type simulations.
Connection Enhancements:

• Ability to load supports for connections having unloaded supports.
• Progress of loading of supports will be shown with the progress bar.
• Indicate in Status column of the connection manager if supports are not loaded.

Simulations running on cloud can be terminated and partial results saved.
3DPlot, XY and Field Sensors results are now available at multiple section-points, and not only to the bottom and top section point.
