Bottom Up Design
“Bottom up” design is one of the most common workflows for assembly design. With this approach, you create single-body components without association to other components.
SOLIDWORKS Mechanical Conceptual, allows you to design components by themselves, and then bring them into other documents, but what makes Mechanical Conceptual unique, is the Single Modeling Environment which enables you to design components, in a bottom up fashion, within the same workspace and within the same design tree as an assembly containing other components. There is no need to create a new empty assembly document or switch back and forth between part and assembly environments. This speeds up the design process and it allows you tackle visual queues from the existing design as you build the next part, reducing design errors.
Let’s take a look.
Benefits Summary:
- The Single Modelling Environment is a powerful flexible design tool for create components with the assembly as well as including existing components
- The single Design Tree includes all the product sketches, features, bodies, and components
- Find the components you need to complete your design with the powerful search tools within SOLIDWORKS Mechanical Conceptual ..
