Between general sessions, panel discussions, product booths and everything else that brand showcase events have to offer, it is not difficult for attendees to miss out on a breakout session or not fully maximize their agenda.
To help address this for first-time attendees, The Hive was introduced at SOLIDWORKS World 2019. Gathering for coffee and conversation, new and experienced attendees met one another at The Hive.
SOLIDWORKS World is now 3DEXPERIENCE World, and The Hive has evolved with the event. This year, SOLIDWORKS User Group Network members are also welcome to network with first-time "World" event attendees, Event Ambassadors and Dassault Systemes employees.
If you attended last year and enjoyed the "I Nerd Out for" buttons or jamming out on Rock Band 4, both activities return in 2020. A new offering for The Hive are Hive Mind Meetups - meet, mingle and learn from various subject matter experts in attendance. Visit the User Agenda to register for these sessions, as attendance is limited.
Finally, The Hive will host displays from many General Session speakers, including a helmet from Brad Thompson, Dave Haddad's R/C models, and an evolution of Danielle Boyer's EKGAR robots.
The start of 3DEXPERIENCE World is rapidly approaching. What are you looking forward to?
