One of my favorite features in SOLIDWORKS is the Open modes that are available in the File>Open dialog. This way, I can choose up front how I want to load my assembly: Resolved vs. Lightweight vs. Large Design Review.

It's a huge time saver, especially for larger file sets. Great news--this is now available in the latest update to 3DEXPERIENCE Collaborative Designer for SOLIDWORKS (also knows as the SOLIDWORKS Connector). You just need to enable a setting. 

When you find the assembly you want from your secure cloud storage, just click the Open command and you'll see those same familiar choices to open your assembly to any mode you like.
