The update of Open Apps, 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS Native Apps, and 3DEXPERIENCE DraftSight Native Apps is mandatory at first launch after your 3DEXPERIENCE platform updates to R2021x FD03 on November 7/8th*.

Native Apps and Open Apps (also known as 3DEXPERIENCE Connector apps) require an installation on your device. Click on the app context menu (the small arrow to the right of the app’s name underneath the Compass) to display the currently installed version. A red download icon indicates that an update is mandatory before you can use the app.

For other Native Apps, you have up to 2 weeks (until November 21st) to perform the update, after which the update becomes mandatory before launching the apps.
