What's up!

Now that the summer is right around the corner,  I love being outdoors on the water so I decided to model a Kayak while testing out the latest update of 3DScupltor and the xShape app.  I have always appreciated the talent and engineering that goes into a creating a kayak.  This was a pretty complex shape that would of been a challenge with traditional surfacing tools. 

Check out the video to see my workflow and progress using xShape.  In total this concept took 30 minutes to create.  It was so much fun pushing the digital clay.

Standing at the crossroads of design and technology, American designer Jason Pohl earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the Illinois Institute of Art. As an Artist/Animator at Incredible Technologies he worked on various video games. As Lead Designer since 2004 at Orange County Choppers, he’s provided state-of-the-art designs for Fortune 500 companies and individuals from all over the world.
