SolidWorks Mechanical Conceptual (SWMC) has integrated a community panel, in addition to the SwYm community that can be accessed via a web browser.

 When you launch SWMC, you will see a community panel on the right. 

You will see a list of recent activity such as new blog posts, new iQuestions or new wiki entries. When you are on the Recent tab and you search, you search the entire community. If you choose any of the other tabs and search, you search only that type of data (such as blog or iQuestion).

We hope that it will be particularly useful to search the iQuestions for help right from the context in which you need the help.

If you do not find an answer to your question after you search, you can ask an iQuestion right from the task pane by clicking "Ask a Question" at the bottom of the search results or by clicking the "Ask a Question" icon in the upper right, as shown below.

When you type in your question, you can include one or more of the following:

• A screen clipping

• A 3DXML model

• An attachment

• A snapshot of your current desktop

After you publish your iQuestion, you can see it in the list of iQuestions in the community panel, as shown below, and others can see it on the web page.
