Excited to share a project I worked on back in 2021!

I developed a 3D model of the GLARE (Glass Laminate Aluminum Reinforced Epoxy) drilling process using Abaqus.
GLARE is a cutting-edge fiber-metal laminate widely used in aerospace for its exceptional strength and durability.

Key features of the model include:

✅️Advanced Material Modeling: I meticulously modeled the composite layers' behavior using VUMAT subroutine
✅️Delamination Modeling: To accurately simulate delamination failure, I employed a cohesive contact approach.

This project not only demonstrated Abaqus' capabilities in handling complex simulations but also emphasized the importance of precision in modeling advanced materials.
