Abstract
CST Studio Suite's TLM solver has a long history in tackling EMC problems. It is a time domain method that is developed for EMC applications with many advantages, including compact models for slot/vents/seams, cell lumping technology and Perfect Boundary Approximation. When the problem gets electrically too large to be solved efficiently using one solver method, CST offers hybrid solver technique by combining multiple solver technologies to solve electrically large problems. In this presentation, we will show how these technologies help Antenna Research Associates solve challenging design problems when installing small antennas on a large platform to get accurate results.
