Abstract
Today's manufacturing companies face the need for faster, less-costly development cycles in an environment of evolving complexity in product requirements and an ever-increasing need for innovation. This presentation will focus on the fundamental aspects of VCollab's Rapid Results Review technology that maximize the impact of SIMULIA in virtual product development.
Four areas of technology will be examined that provide the greatest impact on the speed and clarity of simulation results.
- Intelligent Automation of simulation results processing and assimilation - VCollab tools learn and evolve to deliver the precise Simulia information that the user requires. VCollab quickly understands the critical data required and then automatically provides that in the format needed.
- Next level Live and Interactive Design Review Processes - Current design review processes are often incapable of answering interactive questions or queries that arise during the review. VCollab delivers fully interactive, live, 3D SIMULIA data that can be viewed and interrogated in real-time.
- Availability and accessibility of real-time simulation results across the enterprise - The size and complexity of the simulation data generated in today's processes make it difficult to be able to share the most current product information. VCollab captures the critical simulation data in a highly compressed and easily shareable format called CAx for rapid enterprise collaboration.
- Rapid assessment of system level results through fast and efficient cross-attribute results performed across multiple physics evaluations. VCollab provides a single view showing the impact of this multi-disciplined data interaction.
