If you have ever created a useful tutorial or if you have ever had a great idea for a tutorial, but you’ve never had the time to create it - then now is your chance to share your ideas with other SIMULIA users! Beginning in May and ending in July we will be accepting submissions of tech-tip tutorials.The winners will be announced in August and will receive a 3Dconnexion Space Navigation Mouse.

Getting technical for a chance to be more technical!

Guidelines

Tutorial videos should:

  • Be informative about any of the SIMULIA products (Abaqus, Isight, SLM, etc.)
  • Easy to understand
  • Have a reasonable duration (videos approximately 5 minutes)
  • Be a relevant application or technology highlight

Simply submit your entry by adding it in the comment field below. Remember you must include a 50-100 word description of the tutorial in the comment along with your name and company or academic institution. Use the icon in the Comment section to add your image or animation

 

Rules

The context of your tutorial should be identifiable or recognizable to a non-expert and you should include a 50-100 word description of your tutorial and how you use the particular software you have chosen to highlight. If you submit a video it must be no longer than 5 minutes. Winners will be selected by a panel of Abaqus experts. The contest terms & conditions can be found here. Dassault Systèmes employees and their families are not eligible to win.

Make sure you follow the file size, type and resolution details, and of course make sure the file is yours or that you have appropriate permission to post it to the public domain.
