During the 2021 EuroMed Regional User Meeting we welcomed Damiano BELLUZZO from Pirelli as one of our speakers. Damiano presented "Tire Virtual Development", in which he, following the example of one of the new-born Pirelli products, showed the Pirelli virtual tyre development.

Damiano Leonardo Belluzzo is the Lead Tread Modeling Engineer at Pirelli Tyre SpA. After obtaining a Bachelor Degree in Physics from Milano Università Degli Studi and a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, in 1999 he joined Pirelli as a Research Engineer.

His research interests have included all aspects of tyre performances, like rolling resistance, hydroplaning, NVH. In 2016 he moved to the Tread Engineering group, leading the Tread Modeling team.
