The first part of the video shows a tensegrity structure being tensioned in Abaqus/Standard and then bumped slightly. There is a gravity load in the down direction so the top of the structure is supported by the tension in the wires. The second part of the video shows the tensioned structure minus one element after it was imported into Abaqus/Explicit. The one element connected the short wire in the middle.
