Abstract
This presentation explores the application of digital twin technology to enhance submarine structural integrity during design and construction. Using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, digital twins enable integrated modelling, simulation, and analysis of structural behavior under static conditions, underwater explosions, and welding-induced distortions. Machine learning models accelerate welding simulations, ensuring accurate predictions of temperature fields and residual stresses. The results demonstrate significant improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and safety, affirming digital twins as a transformative tool in naval engineering for robust design, optimized manufacturing, and resilience to extreme operational scenarios.
