Hello fellow SIMULIA Community members,
It has been great reading about everyone's SimFun-at-the-Rum. The two winners have been chosen randomly - please make sure to check your conversation to see if you are one of the lucky ones!
June has been a bumper month for technical content in the community, from tutorials to presentation replays to plug-ins - there really is something for everyone!
A big thank you to SIMULIA Champion @LM who has posted a whole series of Abaqus tutorials, including instructional videos and scripting files. Have a look at:
- Scripting in Abaqus - how to use Python scripts to run, post-process, and modify Abaqus models
- More scripting in Abaqus - use the Python scripting language for building up a model in Abaqus from scratch
- User subroutines in Abaqus - how to implement user subroutines in Abaqus
You can get also to know more about two other SIMULIA Champions, David Scholtz and Cheryl Liu, by watching their new videos.
Presentation replays have been arriving for the AP South RUM that was held in May and for the NAFEMS WORLD CONGRESS that was held back in October - these sessions are available for all community members to watch on demand!
Many of you will already be familiar with the pillar of the community that is @ME! In case you missed it, this month he shared some really useful Abaqus plug-ins:
Thanks to community member @US for sharing some cool Abaqus music!
And finally, you can download July's SIMULIA calendar wallpaper and feel relieved that this hasn't just happened to your phone!
See you in the community!
