Abstract:

Induction soldering is clearly multiphysics task. We will show how to simulate the whole process including the active cooling in CST Studio Suite.

Speaker Info:

Vratislav Sokol received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in radioelectronics from the Czech Technical University in Prague in 2000 and 2004, respectively. He was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate with Cork Institute of Technology in Ireland where he dealt with an ultra-wideband transceiver. His activities are focused on microwave circuit design and component modeling using electromagnetic field simulator and precise microwave measurement. In 2006-2018 he works as an application engineer in CST, then for 3DS. Since 2021 he is with Rohde & Schwarz.
