Hello!
My name is Ramji Kamakoti and I am a Technical Specialist at Dassault Systèmes. I have over 10 years of research/work experience in the field of computational sciences, including computational fluid dynamics (CFD), Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI), Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) and turbulence modeling related to a variety of engineering applications.
In order to share some of my expertise I am holding a series of Multiphysics webinars. The 2nd lecture of the Multiphysics webinar series will focus predominantly on the offerings of Abaqus/CFD and native Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) using Abaqus/CFD. Particularly, we will go over step-by-step procedure on how to set up a CFD analysis using Abaqus/CFD from start to finish as well as setting up native FSI problems entirely within Abaqus. During the course of the webinar, we will also discuss adding turbulence and heat transfer effects to the CFD model and subsequently modeling Conjugate Heat Transfer analysis using Abaqus.
Highlights
- CFD Simulation Workflow
- Setting up CFD Analysis: Case Study
- Modeling Heat Transfer
- Modeling Turbulence
- Setting up FSI Analysis: Case Study
- FSI Analyses with Shells/Membranes
- Conjugate Heat Transfer Analysis
Who Should Attend:
We believe every Abaqus user must be familiar with the capabilities of Abaqus/CFD and FSI offering. A basic knowledge of Abaqus usage and terminology will be beneficial. Knowledge on fluid dynamics and FSI will be a plus as well.
