Karthik Muthuraman, SIMULIA Industry Process Consultant Senior Manager, presented Getting Beyond the Basics with Lattice Boltzman Equation at the SIMULIA Energy Day in Houston, Texas.

Abstract: This talk will present SIMULIA’s state of the art transient & compressible flow solver based on Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM). Key highlights include rapid geometry processing, fast solver run times, high scalability and validated accuracy. SIMULIA’s steady & transient finite volume scheme solver based on the Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes equations (RANS) will also be covered briefly.
