After the first of 3 weeks collecting responses, the preliminary results for the 2013 SIMULIA Customer Satisfaction Survey are out and we really appreciate the time taken to provide us with your feedback.

Here are some interesting preliminary results from the survey :-
Did you know that most of you use 8 cores or more to run their analysis? See the trend in the graph for the last 8 years. It is no surprise that the need for FEA simulation is continuing to grow given the costs of computer hardware is continuing to go down.
It is also very apparent from the initial survey results that more and more users feel that Abaqus offers a complete solution freeing up your need to depend on any other FEA software. We asked you what structural FEA tools you used other than Abaqus and this is what you told us :-
We are pleased to see how many of you are using only Abaqus as your structural FEA tool - this has increased from 11% in 2005 to 47% in 2013.
