Overcoming Disruption of WLTP | e-seminar

We explain the meaning of WLTP and why it is causing so much disruption to the industry, and show you the solutions Dassault Systèmes has developed to address these challenges.

The Worldwide Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP) is a new test regime for vehicle emissions that has already gone into effect in Europe and Japan, and is set to be expanded to much of the rest of the world. WLTP poses several challenges to manufacturers that is not only making it to meet regulatory limits, but it is also causing significant disruption and delays in the certification process itself.

SIMULIA has developed tools and processes to overcome the challenges that the automotive industry is facing under WLTP. Because the WLTP regulations allow for vehicles to be tested virtually using simulation, SIMULIA offers a turn-key, scalable solution for digital homologation under WLTP, with the industry expertise to implement it in manufacturer workflows and get it certified.

This e-seminar will outline what is WLTP and why it is causing so much disruption to the industry. It will also describe the solutions that Dassault Systèmes and SIMULIA have developed to address these challenges, and how automotive OEMs can leverage those solutions to ensure their vehicles will meet the requirements under WLTP, on time, without performance compromises.

E-Seminar highlights:

  • Understanding the key challenges of WLTP
  • Leveraging SIMULIA IPEs to meet certification targets
  • Digitally certify vehicles under WLTP framework
