Abstract
The R2023x Fluids simulation releases deliver new capabilities to expand our industry workflow coverage. The comprehensive SIMULIA Fluids portfolio includes both finite volume Navier-Stokes and Lattice Boltzmann solvers, along with plastic injection molding simulation. All Fluids roles are connected to the 3DEXPEREINCE platform, which enables MODSIM: the tight integration of modeling and simulation. MODSIM makes it possible to virtually model complex products and simulate their performance and behavior seamlessly. During the e-seminar, the new Fluids capabilities will be illustrated via several industry workflows.
Highlights:
- Key PowerFLOW enhancements include an improved model build process, accelerated solutions using GPU, enhanced postprocessing, and end-to-end workflow automation
- The Fluid Dynamics Engineer role includes new fluid domain extraction capability, multi-material meshing, and enhanced results exploration.
- XFlow capabilities for gear lubrication and related workflows have been improved to provide more robust, accurate and scalable solutions
- The Plastics Injection Engineer role delivers solver enhancements for speed and reliability, an expanded materials database, and improved simulation of hot runner and valve gate systems
