Issues with mitral valve function can significantly impair one's health so effective treatments are critical for sustaining and improving quality of life.

In this presentation, Mahesh Kailasam (VP) and Sella Wang (Project Engineer) of Thornton Tomasetti discuss their recently developed Methodology for Improving Mitral Valve Behavior in the Living Heart Human Model, which will enable more accurate analyses of mitral valve treatments.
