Meet SIMULIA Champion Dr. Genghua Liao, Director of Aerodynamic Development at FAW Jiefang Group Co., Ltd. Commercial Institute, located in Changchun, Jilin, China.​​​​​​​

FAW Jiefang Group is an automotive OEM and the largest manufacturer of heavy trucks in China. Established in 2003, FAW Jiefang manufactures more than 500 truck models ranging from 5 to 30 tons and produces 200,000 vehicles per year. Dr. Liao is the academic leader of CFD at the company and in charge of aerodynamic and thermal management performance. While there, he has become experienced using PowerFLOW software to simulate this performance in vehicles.
