Abstract
One of the most limiting mindsets—especially in the context of process development—is the notion: "This is how we've always done it." But are traditional approaches truly the most effective?
This presentation offers a comprehensive overview of various simulation workflows used to analyze and improve complex processes. The focus will be on how simulation supports the evaluation and optimization of mechanical behavior under challenging conditions such as large deformations, fluid-like responses, and intricate boundary constraints.
Key topics will include advanced material behavior, topological optimization, and additive manufacturing. While these areas may seem distinct, they share common simulation tools and methodologies that can be applied across a wide range of applications.
Tools featured in the demonstration will include the Material Calibration application, Deviation Analysis, and Engineering Templates—highlighting how these resources can streamline decision-making and drive innovation across multiple domains.
