Lockheed Martin | Project Gamma Detail Analysis Utilizing Simulation Templates | SAUC 2025

Abstract

Stiffened aerospace panels can have many pockets and conducting the same analysis on each can be a repetitive, slow process. The Project Gamma team, as part of the Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Programs (ADP) Star Drive initiative has been investigating the use of engineering templates available in 3DEXPERIENCE to create an easily repeatable and customizable analysis. Existing analysis tools, while accurate, can be slow to set up and sometimes overkill for a given part. An engineering analysis template may offer a quick and easy way to initialize and run as an analysis using existing tools if necessary. The purpose of this presentation is to share what the Project Gamma team has learned and discuss use cases going forward.
